HI! I’m Daniel.
My favourite quote, related to fitness:
“No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old, without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable” - Socrates
I’m a personal trainer, and wannabe philosopher.
I believe that health is the foundation of all that we have. I also believe that getting super strong, and looking jacked and shredded is pretty awesome.
You see, going through a physical transformation to sculpt the body of a Greek God or Goddess is amazing. But the truly amazing part, is how it improves the rest of your life.
You’ll look and feel amazing, and somehow, your relationships, business, and life experiences will grow and thrive as well. Going through this kind of transformation offers some intangible lessons that are best learned in the gym through physical training.
When you’re healthy and strong, you are free. Free to pursue whatever you want in this life, and there are quite a few awesome things. But as they say, freedom isn’t free. There are no shortcuts to getting (and staying) in shape. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.
I view the world through the lens of health and fitness. The podcasts, articles and resources you’ll find here are all geared towards helping you to build the best life possible, starting with fitness.
PODCAST
The Daniel Yores Podcast is an exploration of all things health and fitness intertwined with our day to day lives. You’ll find conversations with experts from all corners of the health and fitness world, plenty of fun stories, lessons learned, and actionable advice.
It’s called The Daniel Yores Podcast because I didn’t want to add the word “fitness” in there, and make it only about fitness. The nitty gritty details of fitness and health are important, and we’ll go there, but conversations delivering immediately useful information is the goal. Along with general curiosity, exploration of new ideas, and spreading love, movement, and good times.
The podcast is available on all podcast platforms. You can browse the latest episodes on the podcast page. The buttons below will take you directly to the episodes on the major podcast platforms.
